A CALL FROM THE U.K. THANKING US FOR OUR WEBSITE

I received an interesting phone call the other night from Mr Keith Ashley, one of the main officials of the Leghorn Club of Great Britain! Keith has had a look at our web-site and rang to tell me how pleased he was of our web-site and the way that we are trying to promote and encourage purebred poultry here in Tasmania. We had a fantastic talk for about an hour talking over Club news, Leghorns in general, and the rarer colours that are not shown or created in Australia as yet.  It was very interesting to hear that Poultry Clubs in the U.K. are also trying very hard to encourage: junior exhibitors, rare breeds and promote their pure-breeds for public interest.

Keith does a lot of work for his clubs web-site and has asked me if he could link their club up with ours! I have had a look at the Leghorn Club of the U.K and was fascinated with all of the colour varieties that they have over there! I had not seen before: Partridge, Yellow-Partridge, Columbian, Lavender and Mottled Leghorns.

Keith said because of the Web-site, he now has friends all over the globe.

Keith and his club members are fascinated and interested in pictures and stories that Clubs contribute to their web-sites.
