HAS ANYONE HELPED YOU AT THE SHOW?

(I didn't think James would understand the meaning of mentor so I changed the question to 'helped'.  I was surprised at the answer I received!)

"No I do it all myself!"

(We were in fits of laughter at James' response! What James means is he handles all his own chooks at all the shows they go to.  We all know you couldn't get any better mentor than his dad Dale!)

James won Champion Junior at the Wynyard Agricultural Show 2010 and Champion Junior at the Burnie Agricultural Show 2010

I thought it would be a great opportunity to do James' story recently while having a roast tea at his house with his parents, Dale and Wendy Barker.  After a sing-a-long with Rolf Harris and "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport", we managed to get James to sit still long enough and ask him all about his chooks.  He had us roaring in fits of laughter!
