HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN CHOOKS?
I was reading a book about chooks in the school Library and became interested in getting some. I went to my first show at Devonport and met Mr & Mrs Brown and also Liz Hardy! They encouraged me to start up.
WHAT DO YO ENJOY MOST ABOUT SHOWING POULTRY?
I like meeting new people, looking at all the different types of breeds and asking about them. I like breeding and hatching my own Chooks, meeting the judges and catching up with people. I really enjoy Showing!
HAS ANYONE BEEN A MENTOR FOR YOU?
I’ve got a lot of help and advice from Tim Polley and David Holden.
COULD YOU LIST A FEW OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS?
Reserve Champion Junior Award - Ulverstone Poultry Show 14th July 2010

Jack hopes to one day become a judge. I think with a bit of help, Jack would make a fine junior judge!!
